How We Began!

DSC Publishers, Inc., formerly known as Diverse Skills Center, was founded out of a deep passion for writing and publishing. In 2009, I made the intentional decision to fully pursue my craft, transforming my love for storytelling into a purposeful literary journey.

In late 2016, I launched a children’s book series created to uplift, empower, and encourage young readers, especially those navigating and healing from childhood challenges. Each book is thoughtfully written to promote resilience, confidence, and self-discovery, helping children recognize their strength and value.

Through DSC Publishers, Inc., I have contributed to magazines, networking platforms, and blogs, continually expanding opportunities to share impactful stories. I regularly participate in community events, reading to children and fostering a genuine love for literature and personal growth. In addition, I facilitate empowerment sessions for young girls of color, focusing on building self-esteem, identity, and leadership confidence.

My latest release, Looking for My Purpose in Life, is my fifth children’s book. Available on Amazon, this engaging and poetic story encourages elementary-aged readers to discover their passions, embrace their individuality, and confidently pursue their God-given potential.
